Hi, My name is Anne. I'm a posture geek who enjoys simplifying complex info so that regular people can apply it.

When I was younger, my dreams of being a dancer and a triathlete were shattered by pain, being injury prone and posture issues galore. Whenever I worked out, it would then take me months to recover before I could even think about doing the next workout. Ouch!

And my desk job didn’t help any – to say the least. Sitting all day has a way of amplifying whatever is going on to an almost infinite degree. It’s exhausting, too. More exhausting, I found, than a hard workout. Go figure.

So, I sought the cure, which turned out to be a mix of things that, in part, included developing my posture skill set, learning mind-body moves and learning about ergonomics (chairs, and jazz like that…) for posture support during  sedentary times.

It was the combination of all of these things put together that really made the difference.

Sure, go ahead and google. You’ll likely encounter conflicting, biased and/or inaccurate information, much of which is put out by people who want to sell you chairs. This course takes you well beyond all that. It goes over the 4 main approaches to healthy sitting posture and how they relate to one another. It also includes my special, time honed mind-body posture techniques.

I’ll just buy a chair. Amazon has lots of them.

You’re not alone. Many people throw money at the problem by buying a chair. But, there’s so much more to getting this right than that! By learning about your body’s posture, you equip yourself for a cost-effective, value-packed shopping and adjusting experience. Otherwise, you’re leaving it up to the salesperson, who probably cares more about making a sale than she does about your comfort on the job.

I have a condition and pain. Will this course help me reduce it?

Ethically, we can’t guarantee full pain relief from this program. But we can say that learning how to adjust your chair and your movements so that your posture is well-supported (given your individual parameters) may make a big difference in your day.
